Csaba Pinter
CTO
Dr. Csaba Pinter received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2006 at the University of Szeged, Hungary, and the Ph.D. degree also in Computer Science in 2019 at Queen’s University, Canada.
He spent six years in the industry, working in various areas of medical image computing before relocating to Canada, where he was a senior research software engineer at Queen’s University for nine years. He is a co-founder of Ebatinca, where he works as CTO since its foundation.
He has been a core developer of the 3D Slicer open-source medical visualization and analysis platform, one of the creators of the PLUS ultrasound research toolkit, the owner of the SlicerRT toolkit for radiation therapy, and one of the main contributors of the SlicerVR virtual reality toolkit.
His main interest is the design of innovative medical applications in the fields of image-guided interventions, radiation therapy, and virtual reality.


David García Mato
R+D Engineer
Dr. David García Mato received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Science and Technology in 2021 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 and his M.Sc. in Multimedia and Communications in 2016 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain.
He has worked as assistant professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, teaching multiple courses related to biomedical engineering and medical imaging. He has worked as a researcher at the Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery, Queen’s University (Kingston, ON, Canada) in 2017 and the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, Children’s National Hospital (Washington, DC, USA) in 2019. Also, he was a visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi, India) in 2019. Since 2021, he is working as R&D engineer at Ebatinca S.L. in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
His main interests include medical imaging and computer-assisted interventions.

Nayra Pumar
Technologist
Nayra Pumar is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Enterprise, Internet and Communications Technologies (EmITIC) at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
She graduated in Technical Engineering in Surveying in 2004, graduated in Geomatics in 2010 and Master in Intelligent Systems and Numerical Applications in Engineering in 2019.
She has worked as a developer of Geographic Information Systems and senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention and Quality Management. Her work career also includes dedication to training adults in technology.
Her main interests are 3D modeling and printing, augmented reality and training.
Lydia Perez

Lydia Pérez Ramírez obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies with Statistics en Middlesex University (United Kingdom). She has worked as a project manager and managing teams in private and public entities.
