Ebatinca has secured a grant for boosting disruptive innovation projects in the Canary Islands under the STARS program for the year 2023.
This grant is awarded by the la Consejería de Economía, Industria, Comercio y Conocimiento of the Gobierno de Canarias, from the Agencia Canaria de Investigación, Innovación y Sociedad de la información.

The purpose of this project is threefold: firstly, to support the creation and consolidation of startups and spinoffs in the Canary Islands, promoting disruptive innovation projects; secondly, to facilitate the development of disruptive innovation projects in emerging Canary Island companies by assisting public and private entities that act as facilitators, accelerating project crystallization, and promoting connections with specialized investors; finally, to drive knowledge and technology transfer, as well as innovation demand in Canary Island companies, through collaborations with local, national, and international emerging companies and knowledge agents, following open innovation models to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in the region.
Thanks to this grant, EBATINCA will be able to expand its team with new talents, further enabling the execution of innovative projects and the expansion of its initiatives. This investment in human resources will enhance EBATINCA’s capacity to conduct cutting-edge research, develop state-of-the-art technological solutions, and foster collaboration with other emerging companies and knowledge agents on local, national, and international levels. The addition of new personnel will not only drive EBATINCA’s growth but also contribute to sustainable development and technological advancement in the Canary Islands region.
